Smooth es una extraña palabra en inglés. Según diferentes traducciones significa liso, calmo, sin problemas. Éste concepto aplicado al Jazz no puede tomarse de manera literal. También es “cool”, como quien dice en Argentina canchero o piola. El Smooth Jazz no es un dixiland, no tiene estridencias, pero si ritmo. Es una especie de “soul jazz”, con muy buenas interpretaciones y criterio de selección.

Esta colección que subí para vos, se trata de un box set de 5 Cd´s. Están subidos por separado de manera que puedas bajarte de a uno y disfrutarlos rápidamente. Hay versiones, como Cateloop o Ain´t no Sunshine en sus versiones originales (excelentes) o covers como Girl of Ipanema por Lou Rawls que son imperdibles.
